14g sugar/three teaspoons per 250ml cup

While low-fat milk has gotten a bad wrap in recent times as containing loads more sugar than its full-fat counterpart, that’s been proven to be a myth (yes, it does contain slightly more natural milk sugars but nothing has been added, and the difference is so slight it’s negligible).

With just three teaspoons of sugar per 250ml cup, it still contains almost a fifth of the amount of sugar of most soft drinks, and if you’re only having a splash each day with your coffee/tea, then you’ve nothing to worry about.
